Following the reading of the Treasurers report, Secretary John Krodel was asked to poll the units for a Black Camel Report. The following members were reported: Bob Muzell of Sharon, Gene Pflug and Paul Atkinson of Hella, and Dan Komm of Ben Hur.
TSCA Chaplain, Jim Wells offered a prayer of remembrance for all our deceased members. The member’s names will be added to our ‘Friends Remembered List’, posted on the clown website.
Noble Bill London introduced all International Shrine Clown officers in attendance: Past President, Joe Cole and Past President, Bill London.
Joe Cole made a motion and it was seconded to send $500.00 to the Red Sneaker Fund. This motion passed by a unanimous vote.
President Neimeyer then opened the floor for old business. There being none, the meeting proceeded.

1St Vice President Jim “Scooter” Godsey addressed the fact that no one had sent in their qualifications for 2nd Vice President according to the By-Laws in place.
A Proposed By-Laws change was read that reads as follows:

Article IV Section 2
E. In the event no Association Member has submitted a letter of intent by the specified time stated in, Article IV, Section 2 D, a letter of intent may then, and only then, be accepted from the floor.
The letter of intent must be accompanied by the letter of good standing and all other qualifications must be met.
In the event that there is no letter of intent, then, and only then, may a member from the same unit as the President or 1st Vice President submit his letter of intent with letter of good standing and all other qualifications must be met.
Motion was made, seconded and passed and will be forwarded to the state divan for approval.
With protocol being established all nominations were made and voted on by the members of the association. The following new officers were voted on and elected for the ensuing year 2013-2014:
President: Jim “Scooter” Godsey of the Moslah Clowns
1st Vice President: Chuck “Cheetoe” Hudson of the Hella Clowns
2nd Vice President: Greg “Fuzzy” Talley of the Maskat Clowns
Secretary/Treasurer: John “Spinner” Krodel of the Hella Clowns
Parliamentarian: Bobby “Ice Bucket” Miller of the Alzafar Nemnuf
Assemblyman: Jimmy Jennings of the Sharon Clowns
Assemblyman: Harvey “Woody” Woodard of the Karem Clowns
Assemblyman: “Yoo Hoo”
Following the election of officers President Billy Neimeyer asked for a report from the Assemblymen.
No report was given.
President Neimeyer mentioned the TSA Breakfast and stated that more details will follow just as soon as all the details are confirmed.
The next order of business was the pulling of numbers for TSA Make-up and skit competition.
The following is the order for competition with time and location to be determined:
1st Alzafar Nemnuf
2nd Arabia Clown Jewels
5th Kerr Klowns
7th Ben Hur
1st Vice President, Chuck “Cheetoe” Hudson spoke on playground equipment for Galveston Hospital. A motion was made and seconded to donate $100 to the playground equipment. Motion passed.
The divan of each unit was recognized.
A motion was made and seconded not to order awards for mid-winter competition until after mid-winter. Certificates will be given out at mid-winter and awards will be given out at the TSA breakfast, due to the cost of purchasing unnecessary awards.
Presentation was made to Bob “Checkers” Mantle from Billy “Precious” Neimeyer for his service.
Motion made and seconded to adjourn. Motion passed.
TSCA Chaplin, Jim Wells, gave the closing Benediction.
There being no further business the meeting closed at 3:00 pm in peace and harmony.
